STRINGER PROCESSING SYSTEM

This system converts raw lumber bundles into finished stacks of notched pallet stringers with minimal manual handling. The line begins with a stringer tilt hoist that automatically breaks down lumber bundles, feeds material into the processing line, and prepares boards for notching. Boards are then processed by the 2NXP double head notcher before being automatically stacked by the UpSTAK board stacker.

PROCESS FLOW

From lumber bundle to finished stringer stacks.

    Bundle loading
    Forklift operators place bundles of lumber onto the stringer tilt hoist package deck.
  2. 2
    Automatic bundle breakdown
    The tilt hoist raises and tips the lumber bundle, feeding boards onto a break-over deck and into the V-pit unscrambler.
  3. 3
    Board singulation
    The unscrambler separates boards and meters them evenly onto the processing conveyors.
  4. 4
    Stringer notching
    Boards feed into the Go Fast 2NXP double head notcher where pallet notches are cut with high production efficiency.
  5. 5
    Automatic stacking
    Finished stringers convey to the UpSTAK board stacker where bundles are built automatically for forklift pickup.
